“Having Monica and Karen coordinate our wedding was hands down one of the best decisions we made! The last month or so of wedding planning is when things start to get stressful and the details pile up, but with their help we had everything organized and by the week of the wedding we felt prepared and ready. We had multiple venues - a ceremony site and separate reception location, but they coordinated with our vendors and made sure everything went smoothly. Not only are they organized and on top of everything, they are also a joy to work with. They are both incredibly kind, calm, and collected, and also kept things light and fun throughout the process (which can be quite overwhelming!). There are a lot of logistics and people involved in wedding planning that will cause you stress, but Karen and Monica were the opposite of that. It cannot be understated how amazing it was to have such reliable support throughout the day, and how much fun we had at our wedding because of that. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Karen and Monica, and are forever grateful for their help in making everything come together so smoothly!!”

“Working with Contigo Events for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! We spoke to a lot of month-of-coordinators before meeting Monica & Karen, but we immediately felt so comfortable with them. They were so kind and immediately offered us tips and advice on our intro call, and they were super flexible and proactive. We were doing a lot of things DIY and wanted to see if they could help, and they were so open to jumping in wherever was needed. They even offered to MC if needed or help with playing music as we walked down the aisle, which a lot of other coordinators were not willing to do! 

They were super patient and kind with me -- I made a lot of changes within the last week of the wedding and they were on top of every single one. They really thought of every single detail before the wedding and were so calm. A lot of people call themselves detail-oriented, but they ACTUALLY are. Our wedding went without a hitch and was perfect. We can't recommend Karen and Monica enough, they are so kind, fun and the absolute best at their jobs!”

“As someone who initially didn’t understand why we needed a coordinator and thought we could “just do it all ourselves”, I can wholeheartedly say Karen and Monica were the two reasons our wedding reception was as stunningly beautiful, buttery smooth, and downright delightful as it was. They were everything we wanted and needed from coordinators — they were extremely organized, responsive, supportive, thoughtful, quick-thinking, quick-acting, caring, and entirely receptive to doing all the little things to make our night wonderful.

It started to rain just hours before our outdoor reception, ruining our original plans for the floor layout. Karen and Monica didn’t miss a beat. They reorganized and decorated our venue to perfection. Our jaws literally dropped the moment we arrived. Everything from the signage and portraits in the welcome area, to the placement of flowers and candles on the dinner tables, to the bar and even the bathrooms, were impeccable. They nailed it, right down to the little details.

Throughout the night, Karen and Monica were a blur — making sure everything was going according to our timeline and that we and our guests were happy. They coordinated our speeches, dinner, cake-cutting and distribution, first dance, sparkling exit, guest gifts, and probably a hundred more things we didn’t even notice because they were already on top of it.

My only regret is not working with Karen and Monica sooner. It would’ve eliminated months of wedding planning stress. They truly know what they’re doing, and they’re intelligent enough to make your vision into a beautiful reality. We can’t speak highly enough of them and their services.”

"We are so grateful to have Contigo Events as our wedding day-of coordinators. My husband and I had a ~70 person wedding at the courtyard of a local San Francisco Cafe. Karen and Monica were very organized in helping us figure out our timeline, map out the floor layout of our venue, and plan for what things we needed to bring. They executed our vision perfectly and made the entire event and venue feel so romantic and elegant with their eye for creativity and design. They even helped design and print our wedding menus because I (the bride) was just too overwhelmed towards the last stretch. The day itself went off without a hitch all thanks to their hard work and attention to detail. “My husband and I had two wedding events with 100+ people over a long weekend in June and Karen and Monica managed all day-of logistics. We could not have found more attentive, thoughtful and organized wedding planners that were not only great to work with but even made the wedding planning process FUN. We were incredibly stressed leading up to the wedding and Karen and Monica gracefully handled multiple vendors, a full outdoor wedding setup with various rentals, guest transportation logistics and other details over two days. I have managed events myself in the past and work in a very operational role - Monica and Karen's attention to detail and attentiveness is unrivaled and ensured our weddings came off on time and with no hiccups (literally not one!). A seamless backyard wedding…

“My husband and I had a small backyard wedding and are so grateful we had Monica and Karen help out. Leading up to the day, Monica asked key questions that hadn't even crossed my mind but definitely helped the day go smoother. They were super helpful in making sure I ordered enough, but not too much, food/drinks. Given we were using a space not built for weddings, they helped plan out the best location for food/drinks to make sure the backyard space flowed seamlessly and never felt overcrowded. They also made our event space look better than I ever could have imagined (while staying within our budget!). They transformed the bleak rental tent and tables into a rustic, backyard fairytale dream.

On the day of our wedding, we had three unexpected rain showers (so glad they convinced me to get a tent), and they were quick to make sure everything that could be damaged from the rain was brought inside/covered.

I owe them so much for helping our event go off without a hitch and highly recommend their services to anyone.”
